Firstly really enjoy this format, and presented so well by your goodself, tbh I rarely get the fighter of the top of my head, and I am above cheating on Box-Rec, etc, seems to be a 2 horse race to me, so is there a way we could have a straight shoot out between, the only posters with the memory and knowledge ( I will assume learned posters, know the fighter by memory ) ie: @Greg Price99 and @Ioakeim Tzortzakis could it be done ? maybe pose your " Who am I "when both are logged on, and see who replies' the quickest ? we need to know who is the GOAT, over to the forum.........

If it does end up happening, then preferably around the 8th-10nth of September anytime at around this time for me. It's my birthday tomorrow and I'm not sure what my schedule is going to be and at what time I might be here. And I'll start going to my Boxing gym from the 11th and on, and my training starts around the time these are usually posted, so it would be pretty inconvenient.

Haha Mike, what have you gotten me into here? In the interests of full transparency, whilst I rely on memory/knowledge for fighters to look up, I do check their details match those laid out in the OP before submitting my answer. Sincere apologies if I've missed a no checking the internet rule for these excellent threads.

As for the contest, I don't think I'm a match for @Ioakeim Tzortzakis, but would be up it, the only problem is my life is that hectic at the moment I won't know much in advance when I'll be online. I'm happy for @Gui Dosnera do start a thread around the same time this was started on either 9th or 10th and I'll make sure I'm logged on to this site if I possibly can be.

 

I do check some minor details myself, don't worry about it. I almost never know their year of birth, and since I am no historical buff, I always also check out the events that Gui refers to in order to tell what year they were born in.

Yea, I took a bit of a liberty sorry Greg, just a bit of fun really, you 2 are the standouts for this type of entertainment, would make for a rich vein of fun and facts, so off to the shed at the back of the garden and lots of revision for you matey, I will be sitting back and having a large glass of chilled white wine at the time of this groundbreaking and much awaited battle of the champs, you will both be visited by a representative of Vada and Ukad, on the day of the quiz to take samples, this will be undertaken as a clear indication that there is no hanky panky going on, we have enough of that in the boxing ranks, the judges will be selected from 3 different countries, so as to show complete unbiased, and the ref will go through the rules with both online, 5 mins before the quiz, we would expect all replies to be above the belt, and countenance no excuse about weight loss, or back troubles......

Though having read your amusing post above, I confess to some genuine pre-contest nerves, I think I'll be punching above my weight in this one.

On a completely different note, do you know if ***** enlargement tablets would show up on VADA & UKAD tests? Asking for a friend.
