who am i ?

mick power fought kevin johnson on the 25-4-96. it was a torrid affair and had the fans on their feet many times during the bout. these two warriors put on such a show, fans at the end of the fight 'showered' the two boxers with money...

not only did the fans throw coins .....it was mostly notes. lots of them. the boys deserved it. it would be a good extra pay for the extra effort that they put in, and the show they put on. buy a few beers, dinner with the mrs, or whatever..

but there was a grub present that night. a greedy, schemeing grub that, while everyone else was either watching the judges, the boxers, patrons going to the dunny or buying a beer, this particular grub scrambled around the ring, quick as a flash, picking up all the showered notes and coins that the fans showered on the boxers.

neither boxer recieved a single cent from the shower. the grub pocketed it all. never offering the boxers their split. as is usual, both boys should have shared the shower 50-50.

it is reported that to this day the grub laughs about it in some social circles, of how he pocketed the MORE THAN $500 that were showered on those two warriors that night.

who would do something like that? what sort of person?

the same bloke weaseled himself into the sydney underworld, where he was aparently called 'the handkerchief' by sydney underworld figures in the 80s..., because of the trail of snot he left when in his presence.....


the forementioned trail of snot soon became ****, as he proved not to be up to the task. the trail of turds left in his wake...prompted the mobsters to then name him 'kimbies'....
