I am 33 years old middleweight boxer, who gets hyped a lot on boxingnews24. I have had 32 professional fights with bums and won them all. Who am I?
Yes the clue was fighting 32 bums. :hey Has there been any pro boxer in the history of the sport who has fought so many bums before meeting a real opposition?
Geale and Murray were real and consensus top 10 opponents. Macklin was top 10 as well but clearly a notch or two below the other two. Big gap when looking for what his 4th best win is, I'll agree with that.
His "fans" have no problem with this.....hiding behind the whole "nobody wants to fight him" nonsense .......they want him to pick in a welterweight Miguel cotto(who himself has moved up 3 classes in his career) while they see no problem with ggg staying put and clearing out a weak division
since when is clearing a division a bad thing? isn't cotto in said division? when did top ten rated guys become bums? (and yes, there have been many fighters who made it to 32 fights without a legit top 10 win, ggg has 3) he should move up now to fight..................? not ward, who is booking a tuneup. probably not froch, who is looking for one last payday. degale and dirrell have scheduled fights, so basically you think he should leave unfinished business in his natural weight class to fight george groves, that would be a dumb move and then people who just want to hate would say he moved up to fight glass chinned groves and was ducking everyone he didn't fight at 160 yet. (160lbs is the upper weight limit for middleweight, i figure the op needs that explained). I'm not really a ggg fan, but really don't get the hate, it's so irrational and blind. the above post doesn't even make sense; why is "fans" a quote? is it nonsense that cotto or quillin (or froch and ward atm) wont fight him? where is the relation between wanting to see him fight the current champion for the main belt in his division(whoever it is) and not seeing a need for him to move up yet?
Nice attempt at trolling. I'm sure Cotto or Canelo will step forward to fight in the fall. Martin Murray is hardly a bum. Rubio did give a non-effort, but he was a Top 10 guy coming in. Geale was a solid opponent.
