    1) JuanMa Lopez
    2) Chad Dawson
    3) Andre Berto
    4) Victor Ortiz

    :think:think:think

  2. Victor Ortiz. Dawson is done, Lopez has been done, and Berto was never good in the first place.

I'd pick JuanMa. He's only 29. He needs to take a break and refresh. Then hire a good coach. Maybe Roach or Nazim or Garcia and fix his balance. He still has power. He needs to move up to 130.

Ortiz and Berto's divisions are too tough

Dawson is just Dawson, and that should be enough said.

JuanMa could go up to 130 and potentially pick up a belt. I'd say JuanMa

    Of those, Berto.

Dawson was of questionable mental fortitude even in the earliest part of his prime, and has been through way too much to come back with any of the required confidence to match & maximize his talents.

Lopez has no balance. None. A stiff wind knocks him over these days. His ceiling is currently guys like Dib, maybe Gradovich if he can turn back the clock and give it his all.

Ortiz is a combination thereof. Like Dawson he is a pouting headcase with heaps of trauma weighing on him, and like JuanMa he is a former coddled prospect groomed for success and used to knocking out everyone in his path whose road suddenly became very hard and led to a lot of brain trauma upon stepping up (which I suppose is also true of Dawson)

Berto is the same Berto he was three years ago - that is, mediocre by elite standards but there is no reason to expect he can't acquire a belt.

Juanma for me just clearly a total no

Dawson maybe he isnt that old and he has advantages at the weight, he should avoid punchers right now and win a few then challenge somebody

Berto injury plus roids plus Guerrero beating isnt good but he was tough vs Guererro and didnt quit, still has he punch but is just too limited, he may strike gold with a right hand

Ortiz fights like a ****ing tornado comes in doesnt stop attacking it serves him well in fights where guys fold or it serves him bad because he gets hit he gets hurt and then he folds. Injury free Ortiz has a good shot

Could only be Robert Garcia as they other two don't speak Spanish.

    Victor Ortiz / Andre Berto

Devon Alexander - Adrien Broner/Paulie Malignaggi - Floyd Mayweather - Timothy Bradley

Berto is finished but Victor Ortiz would have a decent chance against anyone not named Mayweather

Juanma has a chance to pick up a title but wouldnt hold it for very long depending on who he fought

Chad Dawson lost to Stevenson, would lose to Cleverly and Hopkins would beat him if they fought again but he could possibly pick up the vacant WBA

    So basically in this order

    Victor Ortiz
    Chad Dawson
    JuanMa
    Andre Berto

Of those listed, I'd have to say Dawson...believe it or not.
Lopez is moving up in weight and he's simply too small and too open defensively to compete with gigantic modern day superfeatherweights. Berto is finished as a top contender, though he still might provide us with entertaining fights going forward. Ortiz still has the size and physical tools to be a champion but he's too erratic(mentally) to be a force again.

    Berto
    Ortiz
    Dawson
    Juanma

I say Berto over Ortiz due to Ortiz's injury/inactivity. Plus, Ortiz already got his "shot" at glory so I would see promotional avenues building up Berto to get his "shot," and since he has Al Haymon helping guide his career, which has worked wonders thus far.

Dawson I think still could beat guys who will win titles, but I don't think he will get fights against guys he would outbox like Cleverly. He has no marketability and doesn't generate interest.

Juanma I think would get beaten by just about every top 10 guy at FW and SFW.

    ---

With all the vacancies and undeserving titlists though, you never know. Could be any or none of them.
