    :good

He's definitely complained since though. I remember him doing so to Barry McGuigan one time on tele when he was working the pads for him.:think

calzaghe deserves respect, only ignorant or unintelligent people would deny that. I'd like 2 see him fight Pavlik if he beats Taylor again or Dawson @ 175.

I don't think many people deny him respect. It's just that not all of us are prepared to bestow upon him the god like status others seem all too keen to do.

Yup & we continue to around in circles. It would be nice if once, just once, a Calzaghe fan admitted Joe could have done a little more with his career instead of berate other fighters & persist with their pig headed ignorance.

There aren't too many fighters you look back on and genuinely think 'wow, they fought everyone they could have'

Especially in the modern era. I hardly think Mayweather is going to fight the likes of Cotto, as everyone wants to see

What's gone is gone. We are looking forward to 2 big fights, and it will seal his place in history

you say a fighter with speed and also say chris eubank was over the hill, but yet in the same sentence say that roy jones junior would give him trouble yet last time i looked roy jones was over the hill.

joe calzaghe would not have trouble with this version of roy jones.

I think this fight will happen @ the end of 2008, so we'll probably find out. I don't think RJJ could beat Joe now after seeing him fight Tarver & Glen Johnson. RJJ hasn't aged well.

    How do I know?

I can't see Joe quitting after 1 fight in America. I'm sure he'll look to fight over here before hanging up the gloves

You seem to know everything else.;)

I suppose it all depends on how Mario Veit does in his next fight.
