For me, I used to like Keith Thurman a lot but with his huge inactivity, it's hard for me to be a fan of the guy. Like there's a good chance he'll fight Jessie Vargas next in next March but it wouldn't surprise me if that's his only fight of the year and won't see him again til 2019. Nowawadays, I'm actually hoping for Spence to beat him and rid him of those belts. Another guy I liked a lot was Mikey Garcia. He talked a good game and KOed that one dude for a belt & beat Broner but now he's becoming a Cotto-like Diva turning down fights vs Cotto & Linares, unforgivable.
Marquez. The crying about his seven robberies was childish, but the roiding and cheating was absolutely disgraceful. If he's voted into the Hall of Fame I will lose all respect for that institution and boxing sports writers.
Tyson Fury. I used to be a huge fan of his and backed him heavily to beat Wlad the first time. Even won a pot of money off of betting on him. I loved his personality, loved his off-beat style and considered him a genuine breath of fresh air in the division. Even when he fell off the rails I continued to fight his corner. Then it became clear he was never coming back and I stopped maintaining any interest in him. Since then I've grown increasingly weary of his endless rants and crapping on other, active fighters as well as his tedious talks of comebacks that never materialise while stuffing his face senseless. I honestly wish he'd just disappear. Not in a nasty way, but just, I dunno, stop talking and learn to be content with the life he's got.
I used to like Donaire a lot but after Rigondeaux beat him he's been a shell of his older self. I was a bigger fan of Robinson before I found out that he used to beat his wife and kids. And I liked Ali more before I heard him say that mixed race couples should be killed. I liked Leonard at first but I'm left with the impression that he was sneaky, devious, and played too many games.
