    My picks

    # 1 David Haye
Has the power, speed and size to take out Wladimir
    # 2 Alexander Povetkin
Has the over skills to trouble Wladimir
    # 3 Chris Arreola
Has enough power size and is durable enough too give Wladimir a tough fight

Who do you pick? and why?

    Haye's right arm.

    Haye's left arm.

    His own chin.

Anybody who can withstand Wlads early assault with a good punch can threaten Wlad. But you may pay a price . Look at Lamon Brewster. He took a pounding from the big guy, but knocked him out when Wlad gassed . However, Klitchko came out of it better , even in defeat. By the time they rematched, Brewster was shot, and Wlad had improved.
But Dr. KO is always vulnerable.

    Haye Povetkin and Solis

I dont rate Povetkin against Wlad, as good as he is he doesn't have the right style or enough power to hurt Wlad. however we know about Solis, he's proven, the other two are more speculative.

Solis has the talent to outbox and hurt Wlad, but he's got suspect dedication and too much fat. Haye has the KO power and the class to beat Wlad, but has he got the chin? can he take a heavyweight punch?

Were still waiting for answers about Haye and Solis.

Haye has bad defense and a questionable chin.

I got a feeling that one day Eric Fields is gonna take over the entire division.

I don't understand why everyone is so hot on Haye at heavyweight. He's basically unproven there, and besides, has his own chin troubles. I'd like to see him fight a top 10 heavyweight before I jump on any bandwagon.

    As for the biggest threats.
I still say Sam Peter is number one. Chagaev and Povetkin have also looked formidable but I haven't seen enough of either to say that with any amount of certainty. But this is Wlad we're talking about so anybody with a big punch has a chance.

Long term threats would be Haye and, to a greater extent, Povetkin. Solis may also be a legit long term threat.

Immediate threats seem pretty irrelevant. I´d give Ibragimov, Chagaev, Peter and Valuev some chance though. Alexander Dimitrenko might also have some chance due to his size.

Because IF, and its a big IF in capital letters, he can take a heavyweight punch, keep improving his defense and adapt to the weight, he has the potential to beat Wlad and dominate the division. Its not a certainty, but he's just about the only guy out there who might have a chance.

Basically because he IS a H/W that can just about get down to 200 and had blown the C/W competition away.

Have you watched any of his fights? People are hot on him coz they like his style, simple as that.

Nobody's outboxing Wlad. Best chances are the guys who might be able to KO him.

    1) Sam Peter. Already came close once before.
    2) Oleg Maskaev. I'd bet Wlad knocks him out first, but I could see him putting Wlad to sleep.
    3) John Ruiz. Might be able to hug Wlad to death. The style matchup could actually present some problems for Wlad. If the ref lets Ruiz get away with his usual shenanigans, he's the only one who might have a chance of beating Wlad on points.

Barney Rubble has no shot of winning though.
