I am going post 1950 since we don't have a lot of footage of some of the amazing light-heavies prior to the that era.

    For me:

    1. Bob Foster - good power in the right but that left hook is the single hardest shot i have seen.

    2. Adonis Stevenson - that southpaw left hand is the single hardest punch i have seen in my life time (Foster was before my time though i have obviously seen plenty of footage of his).

    3. Michael Spinks - people underrate his power because he didn't carry it at heavyweight. But boy he could punch. Especially with his right hand - Spinks's Jinx.

    4. Artur Beterbiev - not necessarily a one punch guy but he has brute force. Perhaps the most of any light -heavy. Kind of like a light-heavy version of Foreman - rarely ko's top guys with one punch but his power hurts people badly before finishing them off.

    5. Roy Jones Jr - i only have him this low because he was slightly undersized for this weight. But my goodness, that left hook is still a marvelous left hook.

Does anybody else feel like Saad Muhammad always gets forgotten when punchers is talked about ?

He was a very good puncher ! Bigger than Michael Spinks, IMO.

    Bob Foster
    Matthew Saad Muhammad
    Michael Moorer
    Adonis Steenson
    Miguel Ángel Cuello

Danny Green, the aussie, while not much of anything else was certainly a good puncher

Saad was a huge puncher, but not bigger than Spinks

Moorer overrated as he had trouble denting the chin of Leslie Stewart, who had already had it cracked by Virgil Hill and Don Lalonde.

I would put Saad in the top five on this list

Michael Moorer is a great shout out. His right had tremendous power, not so much his left, but his right absolutely did.

Moore has a good case for being my #5 instead of RJJ, good call. Perhaps i am underrating Moore's power because of how cagey he was and how he often wore people down.

Need to refresh my memory of Satterfield - haven't seen footage of him in a long time.
