Who are the best active boxers you would confidently pick Mike Tyson (53y) to beat?

Heavyweight - Marcos Maidana

 

Mike lost to Kevin McBride 15 years ago. There's no telling what bum could beat him now.

 

He might beat some really awful journeyman that was paid to lie down. I'd pick him to lose to all of the above guys.

Lucas Browne could literally kill him, and Browne is shot to pieces himself.

 

Out of those listed he would have the best chance of beating Dillion CARMAN. But I wouldnt back him confidently.

 

At this stage, I wouldn't trust him to beat his own cok.

 

Personally I'd struggle to pick him against any of them, he lost to McBride 15 years ago, 15 yeaaaaaars

I think you'd have to go to a guy who was a professional loser, like a 5-49-0 type guy and even then I wouldn't be "shocked" if Tyson lost

Tyson had a style that relied on the athleticism of youth. He suffered a back injury in a car accident prior to Bruno 1 and he’s on record admitting that was the beginning of the end of his peek a boo style. He could no longer bend or laterally move his upper body explosively. Many blame his decline on the ‘Rooney’ factor but it was the injury that made his less mobile and less evasive. That decline started in 1989.... 31 years ago. Factor in that Tyson was abusing weed and coke for most of his life and you have to worry for him wanting to fight anyone other than another veteran in exhibitions. That said, he knocks out Lucas Browne inside 1 minute.

 

He would defeat all of them .

 

Honestly, I would reverse that.

 

I know he would beat hughie and Joyce, don’t know how bad the others are, haven’t seen enough of them.

 

He would not stand a change. Samuel Peter who Huggie beat would beat Tyson

 

Of course, the triangle theory, how could I have forgotten.

 

If it was just a three rounder max and he was 225lb and loaded with peds and stem injections I'd pick Mike. I'd make the rules no holding allowed. Mike would swarm those bums and have them all rocking.

 

Tyson gets destroyed by anyone with a pulse. He couldn’t beat Danny Williams or Kevin McBride 15 years ago for christ sakes
