If you want to hear a ral announcer, go on YouTube to the fights of the
50's, 60's, and mid 70's and hear DON DUNPHY, the best boxing announcer of all time.

He didn't side-kicks like "Lamprey" and Kellerman to reiterate the obvious.

The best eulogy for Dunphy was spoken long before he died on July 22, 1998: “Don Dunphy was not only the voice of boxing. Don Dunphy was boxing.”

I like Larry and Max. There both postive and negative and they don't favor brawlers. I don't like Lampley because its obvious that he favor fighters like Jermain Taylor. After the Pavlik fight you can tell that Lampley was disappointed that JT lose by the way he looked and spoke.

Best: Al Bernstein - the best in the game, bar none. A true professional, knowledgeable and insightful and knows when to offer observations.

Worst: Max Kellerman - most posters on this board know more about boxing than this unqualified twerp. Easily the worst boxing commentator I've seen in my 30 years of following the sport. ****, even O'Grady was better.

I agree, it always looks like Al is a little bored when doing most fights, I dont know it could be my imagination. I hate Max cause he looks like he wants suck the dick of whoever won the fight that night, he definitely sucks.
