You forgot Melvin Manhoef Can you imagine the hype if UFC fans got to see a prime Melvin Manhoef?!?!?!?!? :happy:happy
Not really... And a little someone called Jose Aldo??? It's owned by Zuffa but the WEC is still a separate entity from the UFC.
There's good fighters in the WEC which is owned by the same people who own the UFC. Guys like Jose Aldo, Ben Henderson and a few others.
The hype would go down the drain when he loses both his UFC fights by 1st round submission and gets cut.
Magomed 'The Eagle' Shikshabekov along with several M1-Global fighters should definitely be in it (along with other skillful fighters from other promotions in Japan, Holland, Poland, South America etc)...........just because they are not as well known in America doesnt mean that they are not as good, as experienced or as deserving as their American UFC counterparts. This is why CO-PROMOTION is so important for the advancement of Global MMA. [yt]HDHu7AH9hVg[/yt]
Sorry I like the guy but you know damn well Dana hates anyone with success outside the UFC so when Manhoef comes in he would stick him with a guy like Okami then we loses he goes down a level to fight Palhares.
Aoki, Fedor, Overeem, Aldo and Melendez are the main few I can think of where fans would wet their pants at the prospect of certain matchups were they to join. Dan Henderson was a big loss IMO, but then again they've now got Shields, who bar Fedor (the biggest omission from UFC IMO, arguably the greatest P4P of all time, McGrain if you don't know him already he's your kind of fighter, trust me :deal) was one guy people (myself included) really wanted to see fighting in the UFC. However, he's too one dimensional to fight GSP IMO, and is clearly struggling at the weight, we know how GSP deals with supposed top class wrestlers :yep
