Who are the best sparring partners to get Canelo ready for Floyd?

They should hire Carlos Molina!

 

Just spar normally against quick fighters to build stamina so he doesn't gas. Watch a lot of tape and his trainer can do Floyd's common moves in slow motion and teach Canelo how to react. Drill different scenarios over and over at increasing speeds. On fight night do the best you can and keep walking forward.

Canelo has to fight with the style that got him to this point. Executing his normal style at a high level is better than doing a new style poorly. Even if the new style is in theory better suited against Floyd.

Floyd said it first and It has proven to be factual so I repeat it because of that and not because I repeat everything Floyd says. Some things he says, I don't agree with. As for Canelo, he can't lay claim to that because he has too many flaws and the blueprint will be made manifest on Sept 14th.

he needs multiple fighters who have different styles. If there is a blueprint to beat Floyd it is to change up gameplan and style several times in the fight. Floyd is a master at reading his man and adapting. To beat him Alvarez needs to show floyd so many different approaches that Floyd can't adjust and take over.

Steve forbes is the first man who came to mind, anyone who boxes out of a philly style stance along with speed merchants who move around the ring well.

Obviously someone who is very good on the inside that make you miss alot, brendan ingles gym have a very hard to hit style about them, Kell brook anyone?

-Gamboa
-Berto
-Dirrell

 

politically incorrect having gamboa, dirrell or crawford there.. they are all involved with the mayweather gym and would be able to pass knowledge on canelo.

& if im not mistaken Dirrell & Gamboa are signed to 50 Cent who has now split from TMT, so I doubt they are still affiliated with th Mayweather Gym

Best bet would be small fast guys, like Rigondaux and Judah.

 

canelo should consider cory spinks, zahir raheem, miguel vasquez and maybe usain bolt.

these guys should prepare canelo well on his fight with floyd.
