    Exactly pal

  6. He has a point about Gavin's career though.

On a loosely related note, how come there hasn't been a big night of boxing in Birmingham for years? The NIA and LG Arena are both excellent venues for it. Any particular reason or has it just not happened?

guess its not having the fighters firstly, local boys at top of there game, maybe not so much now

magnificent seven i think it was, good show here, coldwell put on a cracking show before now aswell, really enjoyed that

dont think it really matters too much if they local lads fighting,if they make good fights, people will go

Not to sound biased, but most of the Liverpool lads sell very well.

Try promoting anything in Birmingham and you'll do your money in. Brummies don't like spending money.

the Coldwell one at the Tower Ballroom, Carruthers V Robins main fight? was a very good small hall card that all the fights on it were great even the supposed prospect v journeymen fights seemed like 50/50 fights.

according to Frankie's twitter he's got an opponent and date just waiting on confirmation but its NOT Vassel

Kell Brook only has done well with numbers recently when he's sold out the Motorpoint but on both occasions they had a pretty stacked undercard, Matthew Hatton seems to sell a lot of tickets just on the back of being a Hatton really. I doubt that too many people had to cancel their flights to Detroit once his last fight got scrapped but he'll do good numbers in Sheffield. Not sure we can really call Brook British/Euro level anyway he is supposed to be fighting for a world title next.
