for the last few years, i have only had time to watch big boxing fights. I rarely get a chance to see up and coming fighters.

With Beterbiev at 36 and Bivol as the second best guy around, who are the best up and coming light-heavyweights out there? Anyone whom you guys feel can be really good in 1-3 years?

I suspect Lyndon Authur may be able to take over if he's managed right and keeps improving. He's no spring chicken, but he looks to have a style good for longevity.

I don't really know too many of the prospects at 175 outside of Britain, so I'm interested in this thread. Maybe @CST80 can give you a better response.

Joshua Buatsi and Lyndon Arthur are definitely good shouts. Both semi-young and good boxers with bright futures.

I rate Joshua Buatsi and Umar Salamov.

Mathieu Bauderlique is good, certainly one to watch.

Joseph Ward also, perhaps he will be fast tracked.

he and Yarde might be good but Buatsi did not had in the ring boxers even close in level that Yarde, Burton and even this Ward had in fight.
Yarde ofc needs seriously to improve, if he will fail to improve during next months, the same Serge Michel or Bolotņiks might KTFO him.
Otherwise lad is brawe and had proven that he does have balls a lot too.

No chance of Lyndon Arthur becoming a force at world level. He isnt good enough kids.

Buatsi will come up short too once he faces world class opposition. We could see that in the Ryan Ford fight, how open he was.

If you look at the younger LHWs out there.

Bivol at 30 years old is head and shoulders above the younger fighers out there. Marcus Browne and Joe Smith Jr are both very good fighters too and are both only 31.

Those 3 though arent up and comers.

Buatsi now most likely is not able to beat up Ward, Burton and Bolotņiks.
I'm not joking, bums carouseel with last opponent below top 100 even in " just boxrec " is not impressive and is de facto even worse than Burton, despite had defeated by Bolotņiks is not bad if he will improve, maybe Burton might become even better than Buatsi if Buatsi will not IMPROVE a l lot and fight vs better boxers.
In amateurs Buatsi looked damn good prospect, even Oly medal!

Does Gilbert Ramirez count? I think he'll go well at this weight.
