Who did he fight smaller than him that wasn't a can? We all know Wilder feasted on cans.

I think Wilder would be a top 10 heavyweight in any era, but probably closer to Tua and other KO artists who came up short in world title runs.

The early 2000s/1990s would be hard going for Wilder. Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield, Vitali, James Toney come to mind as difficult for Wilder.
Ruddock and Morrison would be interesting, Wilder could get them out of there, but I'm not so sure.

Guys like Lamon Brewster, Chris Byrd, Corrie Sanders could be big problems for Deontay. Tua could KO him. I think Wilder would probably beat Shannon Briggs. Witherspoon, Mercer would probably beat Wilder.

I think after the mid 1960s you also have to go a level under all time great, or matchup dependent to see who Wilder would beat.I think Ron Lyle and Oscar Bonavena would beat Wilder for example. Jimmy Young would be a nightmare for Wilder.

I think during the early 1960s and before it becomes a lot more apparent the size advantage Wilder would have. I can't say I'd favor Patterson to beat him. Even further back, I think he could find a way to dispose of Rocky as well. I think Joe Louis beats Wilder, and Max Schmeling finds a way to time Wilder's telegraphs and beat him in a fight Schmeling could also lose. I think Baer vs. Wilder would be a crazy slugfest that I'd slightly favor Wilder to win.
