What fighters lead the dance? What fighters have mastered distance, timing, and positioning to the point where their respected fighting styles are formless and resemble the qualities of water. water takes whatever form it's on or inside, and can change at any given time. This can be interpreted: a fighter being able to adjust to any of his opponents' styles. Joe Gans was the originator of the formless fighter.. then there came Benny Leonard, then there was Jimmy Wilde, Gene Tunney, willie pep, Harold Johnson, eligio montalvo, pernell, Floyd, Ali, etc. you should get the jist of what a commander is. What commanders do we currently have in this era? I like kell Brook and ward. Robeisy Ramirez Carrazana is another one.

After Saturday night Cuadras can make that list after beating in the face of HBO's P4P guy and him only having a cut.

Terrence Crawford is great at controlling the pace of a fight.

Lomachenko is okay but we need to see him against another veteran fighter. Salido showed the holes in his experience.

And of course the real P4P King of boxing Guillermo Rigondeaux. If he could stretch up to HW he would dismantle every weight class along the way.
