I would honestly say anyone who has reached the top level is a professor of boxing, because you have to be to make it that far, even the guys who are considered "crude".

 

Dont forget his 2 most outstanding attributes The protection of the NSAC & Vegas boxing officials not to forget Mexican beef either

 

Don’t know about boxing Professor’s today but the last great Professor was Azumah Nelson himself. What a fighter he was! I recently re-read in Ring Magazine best I faced series where Pernell Whitaker ranked Azumah Nelson as the best fighter he faced.

 

Perhaps you think he could give classes in both.

 

Funnily enough, he fights a little but like a discount Azumah Nelson. The actual Professor.

I just got confirmation from Abel Sanchez, he will be there too. In fact he's bringing over Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, George Foreman, and Mike Tyson to explain to C.J. why Canelo unfortunately outpointed our hero Golovkin. We gon work on a new strategy for the rubbermatch.

 

Just from the eye test alone, I think he's better than Nelson. I see some similarities though.

 

Definitely, I think the biggest comparison is how they set up their body work. Both have wicked feint games, and can let lose really sharp combos.

Obviously both have underrated skills on the ropes too.

 

Currently, Callum Smith fights in the most "textbook" style. Everything he does is by the book and responsible. Loma is the professor ripping up the textbook. Professors change boxing as young fighters see them and implement aspects of their game to their own. When you see kids in a gym trying out a certain fighters signature move you know you've got a PROF. How many idiots try and fail the shoulder roll?

 

First up I am NOT suggesting that GGG is a professor at Al...BUT he is THE current God of War...Fury ,slick ,ultra talented and you always feel" ....by the skin of his teeth" more of a Professor than GGG yes but God of War is reserved for GGG & Beterbriev.....????
