A combination of resume and eye test, and in no particular order:

Crawford, Loma, Spence, Inoue, Usyk, Prograis. AJ's combination of size and skill make him a favorable match in most H2H battles with ATG's. He's not as skilled as Ali or Louis, but so much larger that he can be added to the list.

Every world title holder is elite imho. And a lot of them that hold no title are elite too. You just dont realize how good you need to be to be in the top 10 of any weight, you have to be insanly good, even for the world top 20, you need to be elite kind of good. I mean, you could probably train your whole freaking live and not achieve half what victor ortiz has achieved. You can probably train 10 lifes and probably wouldnt be enough neither, or 20 lifes. And we are talking about victor ortiz, dude.... We all say he's bad, well, he's elite as F! actually.

Apart from that, a total different discusion are atg guys. There's no atg guy fighting now imho (you can just consider that pacman is actually retired even if he's not). And there are some of them that could become atg (or not) in the near (or not so near) future, crawford, uzyk, loma, canelo, inoue among many others that I'm sure I'm forgetting now.

Saul Alvarez has made a career from gift decisions, home advantage, weight advantage and any other A side advantage he can dream of.
Take all of the above away and where’s would Canelo be I wonder?

Lomachenko, Spence and AJ are the only ones that are nailed on for me

GGG, Canelo, Wilder, Fury, Crawford, Inoue, Sor and Usyk are just below that, a big convincing win for one of them and then they're elite.

    Yes, I have high standards.

Canelo turned pro at 16 yo. Think about it. What was I doing (boxing wise) when I was 16 yo?. Well, canelo was already a pro fighter.

You dont build a career like canelos from gifts and side A advantage. I cannot agree with that :(

A slight correction: You don't build a career like Canelos entirely from gifts and side A advantage. He has some natural skill too. He is almost as good a fighter as Lara or Golovkin. He's maybe as good a fighter as Sergio Martinez was but with a bigger fanbase and better management.

David lemieux was SMW world champion? david lemieux arrived to the distance twice vs gg? lemieux made a draw and a victory (yes, I think that both decisions were fair, that they both were good decisions) vs gg?

Nah, you, people who hate canelo, will never admit it, but canelo is incredibly good, better than gg actually as we all could see. It's a pity that you cannot enjoy his boxing because you are too busy hating him.

The big ocho: Canelo, Golovkin, Srisaket, Lomachenko, Inoue, Usyk, Crawford, Mikey

I would also add: Joshua, Santa Cruz, Frampton, Roman G, Estrada, Ioka, Thurman

I enjoy his boxing, but he's clearly a level below GGG, which is why even a faded past prime GGG beat him twice. There is no shame in losing to a great boxer like Golovkin. The shame is in the robberies and pretending you won. Oh, and the doping. There's shame in the doping.
