Why Linares, BTW? Nobody has given a reason for his inclusion. Is it all the hype?

Hatton limited exposed by Collazo and schooled by PBF.

Kessler Beaten soundly by Calzaghe very robotic and stiff lacks the mental toughness to be great.

Cotto poor ring IQ, poor chin, questionable heart.

Berto Hasn't looked that great despite facing limited opposition.

Linares Hasn't fought anyone worth a damn will get starched when he faces top opposition.

Taylor Poor Stamina and low ring IQ 3 contraversal wins on his resume Hopkins 2x and Winky.

Haye Undersized and fighting at at HW now and has a poor chin never a good thing.

Edwin Valero, if he steps up in quality and and knocks them out too he might shut my mouth up, but until that happens I think he is overrated.

Which ones, thunder? All the times I've personally seen Cotto getting pressured he seems to want only to retreat - and that goes back years. He showed guts in the Torres fight of course, but that was after Cotto had already dropped Ricardo early in the fight, and had some sense of his opponent's vulnerability to urge him on.

He quit in the Margo fight. It has to be brought up. That's why I said questionable.

If ''quiting'' means gave it his all and was stopped when nothing was left to do after 2 KDs in a round then yes,I agree.

Yeah it appears that the thread starter left off a few Latino fighter that would have got a large number of votes...not by mistake im sure...The one you named may have been leading the list, I would have voted him.

You may recall that Cotto was in full retreat mode during crunch time in the late rounds of the Mosley fight. That's one of the key instances when Cotto was showing a lack of guts. When things were getting heated for Cotto in the early rounds of the Judah fight, he resorted to vicious low blows to bail himself out - also a fairly gutless thing to do. Corley also recieved a number of controversial borderline/low punches when Cotto was under fire... I have to disagree, thunder.

Its driven by the Margo nutticks, just as Dawson high number is driven by Calzaghe and Kessler fans..Which is for a large part why I say that polls like this dont accomplish anything. Guys that like a fighter will always pick the guy that poises the greatest threat to thier fave.

I actaully voted for a fighter that I like in Bradley because I dont think that he is the man at 140 and I think that many of the fighters at 140 would beat him fairly easy..Im not sure that he could beat Paulie Maggs.

...........Mijares just got "exposed," buddy. What's the point in adding him? There's only ten options. I could have had 20, and Mijares still wouldn't have been worthy of discussing.

Agree to disagree then,I liked him in those fights,I thought he went in there, won in hard situations, people say he can't fight backing up,he did it and won vs Mosley, now you say he was gutless for doing that:-( ....anyway we all know how dirty of a fighter Zab is and doesn't get that much **** as Cotto gets for those low blows,he still owned him bad.Cotto is a very brave fighter with a big heart to me...I guess I'm watchimg something different
