The guy said he thought it was blesphemous for *EVEN CHRISTIANS* to say they are the son of God. Christians beleive in the bible, and the bible says we are sons and daughters of God. Thus I posted 2 quotes in the bible saying it's alright. :nut
So much hate bro. To study the bible, to learn how much a book written nearly 2000 years ago applies to us today, to take God's principles in the book and apply them to your life (and see THEY ACTUALLY WORK NO MATTER HOW COOKY THEY SEEM)... Is an awesome thing.
I'm doing pretty good in life being a "Religious nutjob". Manny is doing fantastic in life being a "Religious nutjob". Seems like theres a whole lot of athletes, actors, presidents, people in authority, are doing well being nutjobs. Of course life is not promised to be perfect, and the bible says the lord giveth and the lord can taketh away... Seems like the people who stick to there beleif though, don't get caught up in the worlds way of thinking, continue to walk with God, no matter what happens seems like they prevail in hard times. Heck, even if I die I don't have to fear that cuz the bible says absent from the body, present with the lord.
It's very freeing being a "nutjob" :thumbsup

oh please.. Those kinds of people are crazy nutjobs that take the bible out of context. There is a scripture that says something to the extent of when walking with God you can encounter snakes along your path (the path god prepared for you), and they shall not harm you. This isn't literal... It's figuritive.
It means if your walking in God's path (not one you made yourself) then you have his protection. Be like me picking a fight with 10 guys, and expect God to help me. God never meant for it, it was my choice, and he isn't going to bless that, and he didn't mean for me to play around with snakes. I'm on my own in that case. Different if I'm defending myself, my house, or God told me to help somebody being attacked.

Nothing blaphamous about a Christian calling themselves a son of God. I would think if you didn't know anything about Christianity, you would actually look up facts about it so that your critiques would actually have merit.

Not even that hard to find.

Well, the Bible has been corrupted, so it isn't 100% reliable anymore... But the Quran makes it clear that God has no son. So he won't be glad about Andre Ward calling himself a son of God.

Please, tell me. How could the prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) just be a "guy with a great imagination"? It would take much more than that to produce a miracle like the Quran.

If Andre Ward was a muslim, you might have just made a relevant point.

Dude, God obviously exist, so why fool yourself? All the answers are existant for those who search.

Time had a beginning. What could exist "before" time? Something which exists outside of time, independant of time.

The universe had a beggining. This timeless source of creation must also have had the capacity to create.

Everything in our world is soo complex. The sun's distance from earth is perfect, the amount of water on earth is perfect, our brains are extremely advanced, etc. These things can't be randomly ordered phenomens. It takes an intelligent designer.

Use your head and God's existance should be obvious to you. He's the only logical answer to all questions, as I demonstrated above.
