    In my time? Mayweather.

    The first fight I ever saw of RJJ was the third Tarver fight :patsch. I've always been highly pissed off that I missed watching someone who looked like Superman in his prime.

    born 1971, been watching it since the late 70s (my granddad was a fan)

    the fighters that made the biggest impression on me were holmes, leonard, tyson, jones and mayweather

    Oh man. For boxing it will be a LONG time before they see another heart as big as Evander Holyfield. That guy is once in a lifetime. We actually had good fighters in the late 80s/early 90s. Roy with his speed, Evander with his heart, Pea with his skill, Trinidad with his relentless pressure and power. Not forgetting of course all the perfect opponents like Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, James Toney and Oscar De La Hoya. It was a good decade.

    lets not forget that he chased the big fights in the heavies and gave the big boys hell even lewis when he was past prime...greatest cruiser ever for sure one of the greatest heavies top 10 HW for sure

    Gamboa may save us all....

    Cotto is putting on a good show as well, as is Pacquiao. Only Gamboa has RJJ like talent though. It's actually odd to see another fighter as talented come along so soon.....

    got to include mab and morales and of course gatti

    i also loved watching tua

    but my fave fighter when i was in high school was naseem hamed
