I am not a Mex but an American but this is my general assessment. Take it with a grain of salt.

Mex will root for Cotto not because they want to go against Pac but because of the ******* clowns.

 

All my mexican friends love Cotto, in the midwest, west coast and elsewhere.

And Puerto Ricans love Morales. Its reciprocal, we just love great fighters.

I am not mexican, but living in socal i know a whole lot of chicanos. Most of these people that I know which happen to be of mexican decent don't watch much boxing except for when a mexican or mexican-american is fighting. For this reason they are very familiar with pacman and pulling for him, and not so much with cotto. I must say that the few that do know boxing are going for cotto.

Wow bro! How do we lose? Mexicans like myself, who are true boxing fans, appreciate good boxing. All my Mex friends and family admire both fighters, but for some reason want Cotto to win.

 

Cotto, just because De la Hoya was too drained and Hatton is not very good. Cotto is the real deal. not a drained old man nor a overrated fighter. First post thank you all for reading!!!
