Yeah but you can't deny their skills. Nunn could be defensive by avoiding many shots to the head while Watson could be technical. I originally wanted to say Pep because I watched a few of his fights earlier but he was already mentioned. I hope I helped a little. Happy New Years!:dance

And if Maurice Lucas could get into Dawkins' head, he probably wouldn't have made a good boxer anyway.

There were a few heavies back in the day who were virtualy world class sprinters.

Since then the sprinters got faster and the boxers got slower.

On a side note, some of the old timers could have made great ultra runners.

I suspect that Young Griffo is in the mix, though I will never be able to prove it.

Shavers was a star player on the scholastic gridiron, and he set high school track records which stood for years. Carl Williams was well coordinated on the basketball court, and easily could have played at a high college level. Norton has already been mentioned, and I think he was probably the best all around athlete of any heavyweight around his generation. Toney was a star quarterback in high school.

If we're talking about pure physical talent then...

    RJJ
    Ali
George Foreman( people will probably be surpirsed by this choice but speed and agility aren't the only athletic attrributes that should be considered here)
    Tyson

    Everone else...
