I looked through this whole thread and unfortunately you're the only one who mentioned Terry Norris. I think he is definitely up there with athletic freaks like Roy Jones and Prince Hamed.

Sugar Ray Robinson might have been the most athletically talented boxer. Baseball scouts pegged him as an outstanding prospect at shortstop, but the major leagues were closed to black athletes in those days so Robinson went into boxing. After he retired in 1952, Robinson toured the nightclubs as a tap dancer. Apparently off what I have read, his dancing was first rate, but he lacked the showmanship and all around entertainment talents of competitors such as Sammy Davis, Jr. Being a top level dancer requires a great deal of athletic talent, in my judgement.

Muhammed Ali, Ray Leonard, Meldrick Taylor, Roy Jones Jr., and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pretty much all the black guys, LOL. Sorry but, it's the truth.

Sonny Liston and Archie Moore were great athletes. They both could walk on their hands, just look how powerful their forearms are.
