Actually I guess I shouldn't mention Ayala, he was living up to the hype before he went to prison.

Seth Mitchell was very overhyped. So was Jeff Lacy until Super Joe got rid of him

Jermall Charlo. Korobov beat him and Montiel made him chicken dance in round 8.

Im a fan of Teofimo but he shouldnt have lost to Kambosos who really did turn out to be just an average fighter.

At the time it certainly seemed like he got exposed, now it seems like everyone else got exposed underrating Joyce.

He was on the wrong end of a dangerous mismatch, but he was green. Still undetermined what he can do.

That said, it seems like he's lowered his sights and I'm not sure we'll ever see him make the mistake of fighting someone good again.

He's going to rule in the WBA regular belt parallel universe or, as I prefer, the Island of Misfit Heavyweights.

Yeah, Berlanga was a classic. Though I'm not sure we can fully pass judgement until he loses and is never seen again.

How about JCC Jr? I guess if you win a title that's something but there's such a sense of disappointment at every step of his career.

Your right, Berlanga is still undefeated and had beaten some decent fighters. I suppose the jury is still out. Excellent call on Junior. He was sort of in a Nico Ali Walsh situation but with more talent and the full name to exacerbate the hype. Although he wasn't a bad fighter he was nowhere near what the publicity would have led one to believe.
