Yes - a fair few do.

There are often thread with PRIME so and so vs PBF @ 130/135/140 etc, and loads of people are betting against Mayweather.

I seem to recall a PBF vs Camacho @ 135 a while back - how stupid can you get?

Ricky Hatton would beat Camacho at 135 or 140, and as we all know Mayweather would beat Hatton at 135 or 140.

Most overrated is definitely Ricky Hatton. The guy is prety talented and quick, but he lacks much in the way of skill to appease the purist. Both his craft and technique can be prety damn awful at times for a fighter at his level.

Not sure about overrated, he does have skills but chooses not to use them!

He is probably the least aesthetically pleasing of any current elite fighter, with the possible exception of Hopkins.

    Again, I gotta ask...

Wlad has posts calling him the best ever. One poster even worked out a mathmatical formula "proving" he was the greatest HW of all time. There are tons of polls on here pitting him against ATGs who would have been stylistic NIGHTMARES for Wlad...yet the polls are always close.

Cant really put him into the UNDERRATED CATEGORY.

I blame Hatton's trainer for a lot of Ricky's errors in the ring. That pad routine that Hatton does while jumping around and throwing wide shots from all those angles is a good aerobic workout, but it's been proven to be absolute **** as far as boxing technique goes. He just wastes way too much excessive energy rushing in and junping around like that, and those wide shots leave you too open to being countered and nailed on the way in.

If I were hatton I'd have dumped that worthless trainer a long time ago.
Naw, you're right with that second one. Hops rules all when it comes to boring the hell out of fans.

Many people did prior to him losing to Bradley

Apparently according to some on here he could have KO'd Hatton in under six rounds.

Bearing in mind Witter is probably the laziest fighter in the world and has less power than Mayweather, who took ten, their logic is twisted.

Even Brendan Ingle got himself into a pickle after the fight. Hatton would stop Bradley in five rounds (reason - styles. Possible IMO) but Witter would still beat Hatton. Its the old A > B, B > C, A < C thing.

I think Witter could have done much better with a better attitude and better promoting.

No, no. A few people may have looked at it that way but most of the people who got annoyed with Witter were Hatton nuthuggers who couldn't believe the second best light welter in the country had the audacity to challenge their boy.

There is nothing wrong with challenging your main rival, in fact, I am all for it. But surely someone must have thought to have a word in his ear, realising that crashing pressers and interrupting interviews is a bit crass and won't get you nowhere.

For the record, I would have liked to have seen a Witter Hatton fight - but many wouldn't as Witter is pretty painful to watch!

That may have been true, but I would have loved them to fight because it would have been a domestic superfight, with all the ingrediants of benn and eubank. Two fighters who don't like each other.

Calzaghe is in the underrate category? If you mean that Calzaghe is overrated according to you, then its fine by me - it is really all in relation with whom you have read posts from.

I don't think Calderon is underrated at all. He is in many peoples top 10 p4p, and he haven't really faced anyone truely great yet. So I think he is not underrated nor overrated currently.

ultimatly it's not about skill it's about winning fights and last time i checked he was the lineal and ring champ at 140, belt holder at two weights, and 44-1 with the only loss coming against the then p4p #1 and arguably best fighter of his generation.

i wouldn't say hatton was overrated, everyone treats him the exact opposite on this site.
