If they were born here and live here, they are Americans... Everyone in the US has come from everywhere in the world. This is an ignorant thing to say... So Nigel Benn and Lennox Lewis are not British Stars? :patsch:patsch

The US is a melting pot , and our country is only just over 200 years old. Sorry that we are not full of inbred white people ( Exception = The South )

Hard to get sarcasm in a post on a forum... I think your brain is just invalid.

The only reason I considered that there might be sarcasm in your post is because it was so inane that anything else would be quite irritating and ridiculous. Nevertheless, completely fatuous comments are not abnormal around here, and thus not assuming you were being sarcastic does not, to my mind, demonstrate stupidity or denseness.

Sir, I was responding to what has now been revealed to be a sarcastic jab at the way race and ethnicity is represented on this forum (at least, I assume). The entire point of my post was to illustrate that if one wishes to claim that there is a paucity of "true" American fighters, then the same understanding could be applied to the United Kingdom. I would have thought my preface would have demonstrated this, but perhaps I was unclear.

Andre Ward is still out there. He's ready to start stepping up his opposition.
