in addition to the great picks already made, I would like to nominate Chad Dawson, Guzman, and Calderon.

Dawson and Guzman have the skills, and talent, they just need the competition to push them to the level where we can see everything they are capable of.

And how about Quintana? That guy has great skills.

When you start to take into consideration balance, agility, snap and power... and complete ring know how.. I loved watching a young Roy Jones.. Ray Leonard and Arguello..... By way of natural ability goes, Archie Moore and James Toney are the complete text book on how to hit and not get hit..

Casamayor Cotto Calderon Mayweather Hopkins would be the guys I'd say were straight up doctors that could seriously teach you some serious boxing mechanics.

I was inclinded to say Calzaghe and Mijares but those guys have distinct styles that are very natural and they don't seem to be "teachable"...I could guarantee you that Mijares and Calzaghe would have a difficult time teaching their own styles and techniques to other individuals. Another example would be Gamboa, Do you honestly think Gamboa could teach his style to others? hell no, the guy is a natural freak his style cannot be duplicated.

Where as Casamayor Cotto Calderon Mayweather Hopkins would really be more helpful for a young boxer because they all execute great boxing fundamentals and express them in the ring amazingly.
