I didn't put down anyones country. Wales and Scotland are small and somewhat irrelevant in terms of economy, size, political influence etc. And people in those countries like to be distinct and seperate from their big neighbour, because they are proud of their culture and identity. I don't see how that is putting anyone down. If I didn't now better I would say you're 12 years old.:-(
You are very quick to label me: "Unpatriotic", "******ed", "Stupid" "High" etc. But perhaps you should focus on the shortcomings of your own arguments, before you decide to label other people as this and that.

Oh dear, more people getting confused when the stability of a nation means a nation state shares its history with other countries within itself and those countries have there own histories.
Lets give a history lesson. When the Romans left 3 distinct nations came into fruition which were Wales, Scotland and England. These were all seperate nation states around the 16th century, infact Scotland often partnered the French in battling the English.
In 1536 King Henry VIII of England annexed the Welsh using a act of parliament called Laws in Wales Act, which had the effect of changing Welsh Law to match English Law(England had a presnce in Wales before but not legal); which is the real reason they talk of England and Wales, because we have both follow the same common law jurisprudence. Ireland followed Wales and they used an act of Irish Parliament to make King Henry VIII of England the king of Ireland also.
Then when the tudor dynasty ended with Queen Elizabeth I there was no apparent heir, and King James VI Scotland was the nearest heir, so he also become King James I of England, Wales and Ireland, so UK was created in 1603.
This is a very vague outline of what actually happened, but if I was to give a full account it would be bordering on a PhD. So our country, State(with a capital S) sovereign nation is Untied Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland. The reason we have individual nations is because until the 16th Century we were ultimately seperate countries, but now we are not, that is a fact.
In regard to the National Absemblys, the Welsh is nothing more than a parish council and the Scots do have some power in their Parliament.
Im firstly a Brit and secondly English.

puerto ricans born on the island cannot run for president. as they are not born on american soil. they also cannot vote in the general election. as noted there are no electoral votes from puerto rico. they have all other benefits of u.s. citenship except those.

Boy where do I start do justice to the questions you raise.

There is a lot of natural talent in Ghana and Nigeria. Unfortunately I don't think the backing both promotional and training facilities are there hence the guys to have a realistic chance need to move abroad.

I am not sure the average height especially as this is country of about 140 million people population. I will say that there are lots of big men. Put it this way Emmanuel Steward saw the future of heavyweight division being dominated by Eastern Europe/former Soviet states and Africans. Nigeria has been threatening for a while Akinwande, Hide and eventually Peter. The magnificent Ike Ibeabuchi was the one that got away. He really could fight. He was everything Holyfield was just bigger stronger and excellent ring generalship. It was not just his unbeaten record it was the manner in which he won against diverse opponents.

    1. Craig McEwan (Edinburgh) - Uprooted from Edinburgh a few years ago, was spotted by Freddie Roach over in California and has been trained by him and promoted by Golden boy ever since, potential huge star of the future
    2. Alex Arthur (Edinburgh) - Better than his loss to Cook showed, severly weight drained at 130 so move to lightweight may work a trick, awfully slow starter though but technically sound.
    3. Paul Appleby (South Queensferry) - Just voted Britains young boxer of the year and rightly so, has a solid resume for a 12 fight novice and is already British champion after defeating John Simpson. His career could go two ways due to his personality/mentality, he could become a world champion, and a legit one at that, or he could float arounbd the European circuit for years to come.
    Honourable mentions
    Ricky Burns
    Willie Limond
    Kenny Anderson

First, Bute has been living in Canada for maybe 5-6 years, but he has learned french, which is quite nice from him, and he's expecting to stay here for his entire carreer. With that been said, he has been trained in Canada, he became who he is with canadian trainers.

Second, Jean Pascal was born in Haïti, same for Joachim Alcine, but both came in Québec when they were still kids. They are canadian citizen and both live here all year long.

Diaconu is from Romania and he's in Canada only for his carreer. I don't even think he has a house out there.

Ngoudjo is another immigrant. He's from Cameroon but he became canadian citizen last year.

    Mexico
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Israel Vasquez
    Rafa Marquez

Antonio Margarito should be in those top three since he considers himself to be Mexican even though he was born in Cali. Not to mention when he loses he is called a Mexican. Only when he wins is he considered American.
