Yeah, I'm slightly confused that a guy with two Mexican parents, who lives in Mexico, and doesn't speak English, who clearly considers himself Mexican, and is listed as Mexican on Wikipedia, is somehow not actually Mexican, but "American"?

 

Margo is Mexican, but under U.S laws he's an American citizen. Plenty of people have dual citizenship.

i get what your saying but i hate that lol....

because people should be proud and represent where they were born at because thats where they are from.... the only case (in the flow of a conversation) that i will accept saying you were from somewhere else is if you were raised in the place that you are claiming... but nobody laid down the rules in the first place to begin with ... so indeed "technically" margarito is from mexico.... but in reality he is a us citizen...

i go by where your born though because a lot of americans (usually those with roots to the islands) always claim they are from that island usually.... trinidad, jamaica, pr etc etc.. just because it makes them sound more ethnic when in reality they were actually born in boston or new york or something and they just want to sound special... i dont buy that ****

Speaks English better than us Brits, a proper know it all and now we learn that he speaks Spanish better than JCChavez. Not that that would be too difficult I suppose.

Hamed used to bring out the Yemini flag as well as the British flag to his fights, he was born in Britain, to Yemini parents and considered himself a British Arab. He was proud to be British, and proud of his Yemini roots. That is different to Margo who was born in America, lives in Meixco, doesn't even speak English, and represents Mexico when he fights. It is just about logic. I find it a bit odd that Americans are trying to claim Margo as their own :huh
