Sorry, I just can't get behind a list that has Florian above 3 champions. Even Diego put up a slightly better fight against BJ.

I understand your reasoning, I just don't think he actually is a better fighter, being well rounded isn't always better, and I don't think he is necessarily all that more well rounded.

 

none of tuf are all that great. they just recieved so much damn hype. that show, my god why do they let those idiots drink. every season everyoune gets drunk fights and destroys the house! same **** different season.

The next season maybe gsp will tell one of his guys that hes "not impressed with thier preference". though I can see gsp being a great coach. I wish gsp and kos could have fought in pride just so I can witness gsp stomp koschek's head like huerta stomped that dude on that shaky vid.

And so you could see one of both fighters biggest weapons, elbows, taken away. Or fishy reffing, stealing fighter money, no drug tests, no weigh ins, and not knowing they were fighting until 3 days before.

And it would, of course, have been a non title fight.

damn you really hate pride dont you john. You should like pride now that its owned by Zuffa. Beebs, being a zuffa dog means that since prides puchase by zuffa in 2007 you should love pride because it supports dana white as well. so go out and purchase them pride dvd's. cheer for gomi, shogun and noguera. buy that pride t-shirt and the hat we are all friends now. long live pride! zuffa approves. zuffa commands it!

 

No, I was just pointing out the rules have their tradeoffs, and that Pride was not the magical fantasyland it is often thought of as.

I love headstomps and soccer kicks.

 

I dont think Pride was perfect but I did enjoy a differnt set of rules some fighters are more adaptable to those rules. they also favored wrestlers less which is something that people who like that muaythai/ bjj style will appreciate as well. keep that in mind.

but it was never my original point, I just wanted to hate on koschek and I have yet to see him get his ass stomped. It would please me greatly.
