Man, if I had that height I would just stand in one corner and jab across the ring and win the fight that way. No use in moving with that height.

Myllyrinne never was a boxer. He was, however, the tallest soldier in history, that is if the Biblical account of Goliath isnt taken into consideration.

I know I've heard stories of the Knipe brothers, from Ireland, who both were 7'2", engaged in boxing matches, usually in circus side show attractions. But its never been confirmed. A bunch of "giants" attempted boxing, such as Ted Evans who was 7'6" or 7'7" but he ended up dying from complications of his disease.

    I meant that he's not actually 7'11", he's 7'4".

But anyway, he was a Romanian heavyweight (obviously), weighed around 400lbs I think. He fought George Godfrey once. I haven't seen much of his record, I'll have to look it up some more when Boxrec comes back on. I know of him purely for being insanely tall.

  7. GET REAL-Tyson was only 5-11, a midget compared to the top heavyweights now..

Not Mike Tyson. Tyson Fury (Brit prospect), I believe he is 6 foot 9.

I'm not sure Tyson is actually 6'9". I've heard it around, but he doesn't look any bigger than about 6'7".

Valuev said himself he's only 6 foot 11.1, so he's barely over 6 foot 11.

Vitali is at least 6 foot 7.5, if not 6 foot 8.

You're right. My source said 242 cm, but evidently that was a clerical error.
