yeah thats right he knocked someone out in a number of seconds

I went to school with Pipers nephew

But amazingly people didnt use to admire his uncle - they use to take the **** out of the boy - because his uncle took a hammering from Nigel Benn.

    True.

A few that have not been mentioned (I think) that deserve consideration; Dave McAuley; Paul Hodkinson; Ross Hale (at domestic level); Honeyghan; Chris Pyatt and Neville Brown (again, at a certain level); Glenn Catley; Henry Wharton; Tom Collins and Gary Mason.

Gary Mason! There's a British boxing name I'd totally forgot about. He's little mentioned; Lewis was his only defeat.

    Edit:

Thaxton is probably the biggest one punch KO artist I have seen - obviously the Paul Ryan fight springs to mind

Junior Witter is the classic example of a puncher with a non-punchers resume

Lack of work-rate/defensive mindset ruin his KO ratio.

    I do, Jeff

I haven't actually been to a boxing show yet, they are in short supply in Leeds. My experience is generally limited to watching my best mates 7 year old nephew chinning people at Muay Thai :rofl

If Witter uses the right hook in an uppercut type of motion - see Harris fight, it would KO most 140lb'ers, and would put a fair few 147lb'ers in bother. He could have been much better than what he has - if he had trusted his chin a bit more
