I was debating between Forman and Shavers but most accounts by boxers who have fought both lean towards Shavers.

Help me out hear guys. I will do Light Heavyweights next.

    Ask Eddie Machen.

I think he just didn't put his punches together as well as Liston, or have the same variety.

I don't think Johansson hitting harder than Liston is the worst thing i've ever heard, but I wouldn't bet on it.

The bottom line here though is that were splitting microscopic hairs.

Would you agree with me, that in most eras, the hardest puncher is not among the top 4 heavyweights?

    1. Peter Maher or Tom Sharkey
    2. Luis Firpo or Fred Fulton
    3. Lem Franklin, hands down (many thought him a harder puncher than Louis)
    4. I'll have to think about this one.
    5. Cleveland Williams
    6. Foreman
    7. Bonecrusher Smith or Razor Rudduck
    8. David Tua
    9. Dunno

I think it depends on weather you regard the hardest puncher as the person who can put the most raw power behind a punch or the person who can deliver the hardest punch.
