The only problem I have with fmj is the pac fight not happening... but to me that is 1 of the most unforgivable & shameful episodes in all of boxing history, a complete disrespect to the sport & its fans.... I would even have been willing to ignore him acting like a complete tool outside the ring & in interviews if he gave us that fight but he never & for that I`ll always rank fmj & pac as weak p4p champions & guys that ****ed up a golden opportunity to make history & join the elite of boxing.

I would say paul williams is the only fighter at weltrr he really ducked. Margacheato or de la hoya. Thats like comparing a pinto to a benz. Cotto turned down the fight mosely was fighting on fnf then if i aint mistaken. The only blatent duck to me is williams.

As far as WW is concerned, Floyd didn't want to fight Cotto, a more fresher Mosley and Marg after beating Hatton. He sat back in his rocking chair to let those guys bash one another up when the doors would have been wide open for him to have those mega fights at that time. That's really the only criticism I have of him with his ww campaign that I can think of right now.

Floyd is a businessman and if his opponents make PPV $$$ sense then he'll fight them. I used to go with the train of thought that he was ducking this and that fighter but it's all about financial tactic with him. Risk vs reward heavily comes into it. I think he ducked Margarito when Marg wanted to fight him years ago but on the flipside, again, that guy didn't make financial sense.....at least not to Floyd. Personally I think it would have been a hit as the fans wouldn't stop talking about it.
