    In Europe I'd agree, but in Britain overseas fighters will not get robbed so it's no excuse for several prominent Americanm fighters for refusing point blank to fight in the UK

    Any American fighter that hasn't already lost in America, basically.
    Can't think of a single American fighter except Dirrell tonight that has had their first loss offshore.

    Jermain Taylor. Last night was the first time in a career spanning nine years that he's left the cosy confines of the States. He turned down a fight with Howard Eastman after Eastman's team won the purse bid, was going to back out of the title shot against Froch until the champ agreed to come to his backyard. He only left the States once it became clear there was no other way back for him. I do agree he's fought some decent opposition there, but he is the definition of a hometown champ.
