Calzaghe, Winky Wright, Glen Johnson, Kessler and Abraham (if he beats Miranda). That would be enough in my eyes :)

If Pavlik goes to super middleweight he aint going to find a whole lot there, except Kessler who would be to big and strong for him.

Pavlik and Calzaghe would be interesting but I see Calzaghe dealing with him the same way he dealt with Kessler.

I too believe there's to much hype for a guy that has only made one title defence....against the guy he took the title from. That's not to say he can go on and do great things but there's a long way to go for Mr. Nice Guy.

isn't that too many to beat to be branded as great? calzaghe on the other hand has a few names on his list and is already great

the way i see it he only needs

    winky
    abraham
    calzaghe

The middleweight division is so weak right now. Pavlik beat the top two guys. If Miranda beats Abraham that will take away the last good fighter Pavlik can face. He can stay at MW and make some money and get some decent wins. But none of these will be 'great' wins. He will no doubt have to move up to SMW to really face a big challenge.

It will be interesting how Arum handles his career. I think Kelly could stay at MW, make a ton of money, and keep on winning. But for the bigger paychecks he will have tough fights. I am not sure how he will handle the extra weight and the better quality fighters at 168lbs.

i agree.he is not ready for calzaghe or kessler for that matter.he is better off staying at that weight and think about moving up a weight after total domination of his own weight and lots of experience.then may be a fight with kessler who i think will be dominating supers at this time.

I say his greatest win would be against Joe Calzaghe if they were to fight and he were to win.. Pavlik is already a great fightert who has defeated Taylor twice and knocked out Miranda.. Calzaghe is known as a great now, so defeating him would really make his case.. I still want to see Pavlik vs Abraham though :deal

This is how I thought of him prior to Taylor.
But he as proven to be much better than OK.
Will he ever be an ATG? I still say no, but he seems to like to prove people wrong, so I wont count him out just yet.

I am very interested how he does against Lockett. This is the first time he is really considered to be a big favorite and expected to dominate. Will he? Zertuche had Pavlik a little wobbled at one time and Zuniga had him down and in a tough fight. I wont not be shocked if Lockett gives him a run for his money and possibly pull out an upset. I dont think it will happen and want Pavlik to do what he is supposed to do.

**** yourself, go into hiding for a few months... we all react differntly when our hearts get broken! :D

I dont think you have much to worry about against Lockett. He is mostly likely the one who is going to **** when he feels the power and pressure Pavlik will put on him. But it is boxing, and crazier things have happened :good . One good punch can change the course of history so enjoy the moment of his streak!

Lockett to be the Modern Day Cinderella Man.....:barf , not on Pav's watch.

Let's hope when his time comes it wont be at the hands of a guy like Gary. I am proud to say that Miranda's only true loss was from the undisputed, undefeated, linear middle weight champion of the world, Kelly 'THE GHOST' Pavlik! I wouldn't want you to have to same the same about a guy like Pocket Rocket Locket...

NO ****!!!:rofl  :rofl  I don't think I could find me a cave deep enough! By the time I did return, I would be a Smiegel.

IMO, Pav will get HEAVY criticizm if he don't blow the Pocket Rocket out in less than 4-5. Personally I'd like to see KO 1.:yep David Banks style.

Abraham, Wright and Calzaghe are enough for me.
