So what ? this fight would be a lot better than the Mayweather Marquez fight.

 

arum had already made pac-cotto and pac-clottey, all in-house fights. now that pac and floyd is even bigger, arum, even with his dishonest aura, would not want to pass this especially now that pac has said that it would only be one more fight and concentrates on politics and his family. as it is, arum has this interview of wanting to initiate the negotiations. where is the interest from floyd's camp? it is better than nothing.

of course arum has a back-up plan. but i would rather for pac to retire if floyd would not want to fight him than fight margarito who i think will do little for his legacy right now.

The fight isn't happening because Manny isn't going to agree to a full WADA style drug testing arrangement with drug testing possible up to fight night.

I believe Floyd made it clear after the Shane fight that the drug testing is no longer negotiable.
