Who are you rooting for and why?

floyd was around, relevant and known for longer than Manny Pacquiao. His sales prove this and his reign at the top of the P4P list way before Manny was even known. Stop trolling. Plus most Manny fans aren't evenManny fans. Just Floyd haters. Huge difference.

 

You think that because a country back's the guy they automatically worship him lol You're probably mad because there's a possibility that the people here in the US are actually split when it comes to who they're cheering for. As a fl0m0, does it hurt your feelings that even Americans want Floyd to lose? We all know Floyd is butt hurt about it, he even said that the American people should be backing him because he too is American. Let me guess, you're gonna say something like people are against Floyd because he's black. Oh, and Floyd will have the last laugh because he'll be making more money than anyone else in the sport.

Filipino's don't cheer for Manny because of his skin color or because he comes from the same country. People cheer for him because although he has made mistakes in his life, the man is a genuinely good person. Yes, he cheated on his wife, but if his own wife can forgive him then who are we to condemn him, its not like he beats women in front of children. Even before he entered politics he was well known for being very charitable. Throughout his career, Manny has always been courteous, humble and respectful. Even Fl0mos don't hate Manny, they may hate his fans, but not him.

You know that your assumption that Filipinos worship Manny is overly exaggerated, you just probably hate the fact that more Americans don't cheer for Floyd the way Filipino's cheer for Manny. If Floyd was the one that was humble and respectful and Manny was arrogant and loud mouthed, as a Filipino, I would have no problems cheering for Floyd and hoping for the downfall of Manny. Most people who want Floyd to win are rooting for him because of 1. his boxing abilities and 2. his skin color, the people who are rooting for Manny do so because 1. some think he is the only one who can give Floyd his first loss 2. he's an exciting fighter 3. his skin color/country 4. they think he's a nice guy 5. they don't like Floyd because he is arrogant and superficial.

Floyd has marketed himself to be a villain, and it was genius, he's made a lot of money because of it, but at the end of the day, people still see him as a villain and it's obvious its getting to him. Who would most of the people root for, the nice guy or the villain?

 

A true gentleman with a family always cheats on his wife with hookers like Pacman. True gentleman FACT!!!

 

If Pac wasn't Filipino you guys would have never known there was a sport called boxing. Lets be clear, Pac is the only international athlete you guys have, which explains your buthhurt over any small criticism of the man. Talent like Mayweather is nothing new in our community.

Manny, of course. I'd like to Floyd take a loss, get over it and then start fighting like he's not afraid to lose his 0. I'd like to see him pick himself up. That's what great fighters do. Also because the W for Manny is one of the greatest comebacks in the sport. That and also because Floyd is generally a dik.

 

Manny of course he is better for the sport as a whole

 

I'm rooting for a good fight, but a Mayweather win. The betting odds will probably be as close as ever for a Mayweather fight, so even a small bet should get you some good money.

 

And those who miss out on that talent end up living vicariously as Flowmos

 

The sad part is little scrubs like you who get butthurt over anything concerning Floyd. You google Floyd multiple times every single day so you can scan through the news stories, the gossip pages, and the youtube clips, in a hopes of finding any minor detail you can latch on to for you to :| about. And unfortunately you and the masses of haters are too stupid to realize that Floyd has basically made his millions off you. You concentrate your time more so on the one you hate rather than the one you love. Not a single endorsement to his credit and yet he became the top earning athlete in the world thanks to people like you. He's played this "social media" generation to perfection. He's counting bills while your :| behind your keyboard. So yes, he's flipping you and those like you the bird while the best you can do is, "but but but he he he's still a ducker!"

 

Mayweather. I've always been a fan and his boxing style is a thing of beauty. I generally like boxers who box similarly to how I do.

Plus, Pacquiao's fans are the biggest turn off of all time. I'm often influenced by that these days (why I don't care for Golovkin and Hopkins, either).

 

I'm pulling for Mayweather largely in part because you think that way. Big, bad, mean Floyd...the one you don't like. :bbb
