    Rooting for Cotto.
But Mayweather's gonna put a high tax on that ass in embarrassing fashion.

Here are the times I've rooted for Mayweather since he moved up from 140:

    Judah
    Hatton
    Ortiz

    That's it.

It's a pleasure to watch the man work and I appreciate that he's a once in a lifetime talent, but he just keeps picking on guys I like and have sentimental affinity toward and who are far easier to root for than him (Tata, DLH, Marquez, Mosley, now Cotto...) :yep

Big, big fan of both boxers. I'm quite neutral in this one.

I'd be happy to see either man win. :good

    Floyd for sure.

I'm not a huge fan of anyone at that weight except Sergio... so I don't want Floyd to get his ass kicked until he can get into the ring with Sergio.

I'm going for floyd. Cotto is one of my favourite fighters. Infact there was a time when he was probably my favourite fighter. However, as a boxing fan I have to go with floyd because in floyd we are witnessing a once in a life time talent that thinks and executes the game on a cerrebral level that is akin to Robinson, Pep and Louis. Floyd doesn't have many fights left so for me the time for disliking his personality and his "bad guy" persona has passed. I'm just going to appreciate the talent while I can.

Thanks man:good I got a real love hate relationship with floyd. Like when he came back from retirement and fought Marquez I was stoked for the entire build up to that fight....right up until he purposely missed weight and forced Marquez to fight him at 146 lbs. That was a really low ball move considering most people figured the only reason this fight was going to be competitive was because of the lower weight Floyd had agreed to fight at. But **** man everytime I watch old tape of him and everytime I see him fight even these days I know I'm watching a very gifted fighter. I think I've been watching boxing long enough to appreciate the science behind the game. And I understand the science of the game well enough to Know I'm not a "dick rider" or a "*****" when I say floyd's a special talent. Do you have to like him just because you understand that? Nope! Lol. But I don't have a problem cheering for him in is one.

Slightly more for Floyd in this one, but I really like both fighters. If Cotto finds a way to pull it off I will be very happy for him after he has been cheated in the past.

Actually, Cotto speaks very well. Very articulate and well spoken and extremely polite. Plus he's reaching into learning a second language.
Floyd on the other hand, can barely speak our own language and reaches too much for simple sentence structure. He knows a word or two in other languages.. I'll give him that.

I'm not at all interested in this fight, but do think Floyd winning would be more ideal for boxing as a whole. He needs to stay as complete a fighter as he can if the fight we want to see should happen. Same goes for pacquiao. He better not just win, but look incredibly good against Bradley or his credibility will take yet another hit.
