In no order:

Mike Tyson - Revitalised my interest in boxing.
Rocky Marciano - A great guy and great champion.
Marvin Hagler - The epitome of professionalism.
Tommy Hearns - A class act in and out of the ring.
Brian Mitchell - Proved that hard work can overcome physical limitations.

But I'm learning about fighters all the time, so ask me in 5 months and I could give you a different answer.

 

Muhammad Ali - Even after losing the first bout with Frazier, he was my inspiration to go into amateur boxing.

Roberto Duran - Because I couldn't box anything like Ali, so Duran influenced my style. (Meaning, hit as hard as possible, as many times as possible.)

Salvador Sanchez - Because he inherited a logical place in the progression from Alfonso Zamora to Carlos Zarate to Wilfredo Gomez, each of whom I really admired. And Sanchez mighta-coulda-woulda-shoulda been an all time Top 10 featherweight. Heck, he already is in my book.

Marvin Hagler - Grrrrr...

Gene Fullmer - The epitome of the figher with limited tools making the most of what he had. Hard hitting, hard headed, deceptively slick and a helluva good guy if a bit of a square head.

Frank Bruno - Love the guy, could bank on a knockout of some kind whether it be him on the canvas or someone else. Also seems like a great bloke.

Nigel Benn - All his fights were just brutal

Tyson - The man just was entertainment, always could bank on some drama.

Gatti - Uses his head as to block punches what more can you say
