Who are your favorite boxing trash-talkers?

This can be all-time or just current figures in the sport.

A few of my favorites at the moment:

James Toney -- One of the best smack talkers ever, in any sport. Doesn't fight as well as he once did, but that hasn't stopped his verbal barrages.

David Haye -- Haye has an opinion on everything and will say anything about anyone. I'm not a huge fan, but I do appreciate his ability to drum up interest via his mouth.

Vic Darchinyan -- Never the shy type, Vic said what he would do to Cristian Mijares and then went out and delivered.

And my current trash-talking favorite in all of boxing...

Enzo Calzaghe

Yes, he looks like BALCO scandal figure Victor Conte after a crash diet and can be annoying as hell, but it's moments like the following (see from 2:00 to 7:17 that make Enzo pure trash-talking gold:

Enzo is the man. That riff in the video was fantastic. When you can get the crowd at a press conference saying "Kick his ass, Roy!" and "45 and 1!" you know you're doing something right.

Enzo's also comedy gold between rounds in the corner. The way you put it is perfect, it's like he blacks out and just starts channeling some unknown junk-talking television station or something. Ha ha ha. :thumbsup

 

Oh, HELL yeah. I just completely forgot about him. He's even better than Enzo, or at least as good. Thanks for correcting my oversight on that score. :good
