    Who are your favourite up and comers? I use the term up and comers instead of prospects cause I know someone is bound to split hairs over whether someone is till a considered a prospect or not.:lol:

    Frankie Gavin - As pure a boxer as they come.

    Masao Nakamura - Has already established himself in the division with only 12 fights so he's not afraid of a challenge. Massive puncher, can box and brawl, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him. Hopefully he fights on American soil on HBO or something.

    Jose Benevidez Jr - Looks tremendously polished and his offensive arsenal is very pleasing on the eye. He's going all the way to the top if he has a decent chin.

    Mike Dallas Jr. -- grew up where I did (Bakersfield); gotta support the local guy and he has tons of heart.

    Gary Russell Jr. -- the guy was a beast in the amatuers and an Olympian. Good power.

    Mike Jones -- love the guys who make it without the help of a big time promoter.

    Jose Benevidez Jr looks a great prospect, was watching him a video of him on youtube giving shawn porter a going over in sparring.

    Not sold on Dallas jr, saw him against Lanard Lane, which was decent win, cause Lane does have some talent, but his style does not impress me that much.


    That guy has some serious hand speed, very fast..

    I'm rooting for the kid more as a hometown guy than a future world beater. There are many reasons to have a favorite. Local guy is a good one in my book.
