    1. Naoya Inoue
Terence Crawford, Saul Alvarez, Oleksandr Usyk.
I didn't rank it, except that Naoya Inoue is clearly number 1, and fighter of the year.

Some fans seem to think ''generational talent'' = gigantic weight bullies who haven't achieved a fraction of what the actual generational talents said fans trash have going on a bashing spree in Club Leprechaun

Take David Benavidez for example. I've been a big fan of his for years but who exactly has he beaten, let alone his size?

Let's send this one down to the lab

A washed natural 160 pounder David Lemieux? A prime LHW who is bigger than many career LHWs vs a washed natural MW who was derided as a ''bum'' way back in his prime by these same clowns who blow smoke up Benavidez's ass for beating a way smaller washed version of him

Boo Boo Andrade - career 154-160 pounder who had has never beaten a single world champion in his entire career, had only fought at 168 once, against a salmon farmer, and who gassed after 3 rounds against Benavidez because of how much he bulked up to fight at the weight

Caleb Plant - who the hell has Plant ever beaten? Subway Mike Lee? Vincent Feigenbutzer? Shot senior citizen versions of Caleb Truax and Anthony Dirrell. Uzecat who lost to Lionell Thompson later the same year? Porky Medina?

    J'Leon Love?

The mighty Ronald Gavril who dropped Benavidez and was robbed in the first fight?

Is this a joke? This is 'generational talent'' kind of stuff, eh?

He's never beaten a world champion his natural size, let alone a prime one. Not a single one

He weighed 195lbs vs Angulo. Career 175 Beterbiev has never weighed near that much

He's a LHW beating up on blown up MWs and regional level SMWs

See what happens when we hold the favorites of others to the same standard they hold others? It ends way way worse for them and it's as easy as pie to do

    Loma

I expect Stevenson to make his way onto the list soon. Teo when he's on is a contender as well.

Who has he beaten? Better fighters than the likes of Canelo, Crawford, GGG ever beat after 28 pro fights. 4 former or current world champions, and he has beat the crap out of every single person he has ever fought.

He had an inch in height and reach over most of his best opponents yet is accused of being some huge weight bully while the likes of Haney has 5 inches in height and reach even when he moves up.

Davids resume is impressive for a 26 year old with 28 pro fights, and he became a world champion at a younger age than canelo in far less fights, and he has a special combination of attributes and skills. Size, speed, power, stamina, accuracy, combination punching, aggression, durability, versatility. That is special.

You put Loma in your list a guy who is 17-3 and lost to a guy with 11 losses? Cool.

Usyk? Good accomplishments on paper but he is just a good grinder with 20 pro fights. I don't see a special fighter in the ring.

Some interesting choices being made, I’ll say the 4 generational talents today are:
    1. Naoyo Inoue
    2. Terence Crawford
    3. Oleksandr Usyk
    4. Dimtry Bivol

Honourable mentions are Fury, Canelo, Beterbiev, and Loma. Guys who could make it with a few big fights are Lopez, Haney, Shakur, and Tank. Shocked that Bivol hasn’t made it into more tbh.

For me Usyk is unquestionably far more skilled and gifted than Benavidez and I don’t think David will ever achieve what he has done. I think Benavidez is a good fighter but I don’t see anything generational as of yet.

Surprised nobody mentioned Subriel. He's just short of my top 5, but top 10 for sure.

    Inoue - Phenomenal
Beterbiev - Past prime, but unstoppable.
    Uysk - Phenomenal
Crawford - Cant think of a fighter who beats him 160lbs and below.

Bivol great fighter, needs to KO mismatched opponents.
    Lomachenko great fighter, past prime.
Canelo great fighter, best resume, beatable.
