Banal needs a new trainer... the kid has major potential but like others in his stable they kinda have the same style.
i forgot rodel mayol, i like that kid, good skills. too bad he lose two in a row, if i'm not mistaken. malcolm tuñacao is also a decent boxer, dont know if hes still active.
Bautista has a glass chin because he got caught in the 1st round by a very good Puncher? BOOM BOOM is lucky that happened in the 1st round instead of later because that is when fighters get ruined. Had Vargas stayed down vs Tito in the 1st round, im sure he'd still be fighting today at an elite level. When pac got dropped by a jab his EXPIREINCE, got him through it by clinching and lateral movement. BOOM BOOM just got some of this experience with his last loss. GIve him a chance and you'll see him back at the elite stage
Pac Penalosa and Donaire. I hate Pac and love the other 2 to bits. This Banal guy everybody keeps on harping about, I have no hope and interest in whatsoever, and if im going to be frank hes another Boom2x waiting to happen. And chino2 you could stick a fork in Boom2x cuz hes done. Going back to Banal, I dont understand what the fuss is all about. Id be extremely surprised if he gets far into his career, but again thats just the makapili in me talking.
Just curious, doesn't anyone remember how good Malcolm Tunacao is? If you ask me, skillwise, he's right up there with Penalosa and Donaire. Watch out for Concepcion, he'll make a noise at 122 this year. And about Boom-boom. He was rushed to a title without even the benefit of respectable opponents. He didn't even went for an RP title at a time when the Philippines 122 lb division was very strong. They took the easy way, fighting unknowns then earning a ranking and capitalizing on a title shot which was ended so brutally. He'll recover, don't worry and maybe capture more regional belts along the way. But he'll never be a championship caliber fighter anymore.
Well at least he'll have more of those OPBF trinkets to put on his shelf Tunacao is that guy who fights mostly in the japanese circuit right, hes alright
hes one of my fav before. after his loss in thiland, i never heard of him. i think hes still young and can do more in the ring.
So? What does it matter? It doesn't effect you in any way.. Just because Penalosa is a vetern and Bautista just lost by 1st rd KO, I'm suppose to like Penalosa better?
