Tough, and to do it at all, I have to stick with fighters of my lifetime, but probably... Julio Cesar Chavez George Foreman Lennox Lewis James Toney TBE FMJ or Wilfredo Gomez or Salvador Sanchez See, I can't do it. If we start going all-time, then we have to add Louis, Marciano, Ali, Charles, Greb (based mostly on the legend), Ketchel, Robinson, Lamotta, Basilio, and on and on. POSt SCRIPT: Shucks, reading through the thread and I forgot Arguello.
There's nothing to dislike about him, well unless your a Moore fan. Or a Burley fan. Or a Walcott fan. Or a Marshall- It's mad how much he accomplished and is still underrated. Literally embodied greatness and class.
Yup, he beat five great fighters, more good ones that I can remember off the top of my head, and even as his illness was manifesting, still gave Marciano hell. What a champ.
Those have been my unchallenged favorites, chronologically, so the #5 spot is currently being disputed. Some of the contenders for that spot are Spence, M. Garcia, Inoue, Loma, Canelo, and V. Ortiz. One of them will get the next spot on the lineup once the Senator hangs the gloves up for good.
