I know its a bit of a long shot but what about ortiz? if he beats floyd he wins it 100% Realistically if everything goes how I think it will go then ward or donaire wins it. Marquez doesnt beat pac, floyd beats ortiz, morales doesnt beat matthyssee and khan, froch shouldnt beat ward and I think hopkins loses a close decision vs dawson.

But yeah, if Ortiz beats Mayweather i'm sure he gets it... if not then Hopkins will if he beats Dawson.. but f neither of those happen then I see the Ward- Froch winner getting it.. unless Rios fights and beats someone of note.... I agree CB that ward will beat Froch but its close.. so the winner of that gets it... I don't think Donaie will fight an opponent of caliber to upset the froch-Ward winner and steal the FOTY title.. but he's number five on my list because the selection seems limited this year... but yeah I got Ortiz losing to May and B Hop losing to Dawson.. should be interesting though
But its FOTY.. and Mayweather and Pac haven't done enough this year but like you said.. they normally award it to the big names.. although they gave it to Glen Johnson the year he faced like 9 opponents.. so I'm going with B Hop.. but Rios deserves to be mentioned or win it if all the other people don't do what it takes to get it... Last year, Pac DID NOT deserve to get it... (over Martinez).. so we'll see what happens this year

morales lost to maidana though. so even beating Mthysse wont put him on top. plus those two wins(has and if he wins both) arent as good as froch(if he wins) , Hopkins and ortiz.

Well, Ward and froch were expected to win their fights while Arce was the underdog in his last fight, winning his 3rd title while fighting in his 5th weight class against a younger, fresher, and bigger Vazquez jr...winning by TKO. However, the winner of Froch/Ward will definetly be on the list, maybe even on top depending on the manner of the victory. Since you said FOTY so far, and they havent fought yet, thats why i didnt list neither one. :good
