    At that age Tyson definitely had better accolades, a lot more hype, and was obviously much more popular.

    Its an interesting comparison because both of these fighters have very much in common in many areas and aspects of coming up in the boxing world, and even physically. Even the way Canelo fights sometimes is a bit reminiscent of Tyson.

    One of the most notable differences however seems that Mike Tyson became reckless with his fame and all his fortune, while Canelo seems to handle his financial success and fame just fine.

    canelo at that age was a prospect meanwhile mike tyson was the man of the maximum division and he was facing the best so this question is a joke

    Well that's a bit unfair to Tyson...he had that pariah King on him & canelo has Oscar who is so scared of losing Canelo that he makes sure all is smooth cash wise ...which is as it should be...to a degree ofcourse.

    No, but then Canelo didn't exactly do well in that match. Completely outclassed.
