Buchanan and Dejesus were better than Mayweather and Nelson at lightweight, Duran stated in the Ring magazine that Buchanan had the best jab he had ever faced and he slipped more shots than Roger and Nelson did, specifically Roger who I saw Paz landing on at times in their bout, Paz would of been toyed with by DeJesus and Buchanan. Haugen was nowhere near the class of Esteban and Ken.

KOBA and Guts were betterthan haugon and ramirez who beat Whitaker. I think ed viruet beats whitaker. Lampkin and Mamby and Thompson were excellent fighters. Villa went 15 with Benitez and eas destroy ed by DURAN. Adolpho Virurt gives Whitaker troble. Fernandez was very good and would give Whitaker trouble. Defensive fighters Viruets and Fernandezwould trouble another defensive fighter. And remember 15 rds. Big difference for fighters to work on a boxer. Palomino, Leonard, Hagler Hrarns, Barkley all beat Whitaker. Maybe all by stoppage. Whitaker fought garbage. Young Chavez stops him. **** man, Monroe Brooks and Minchillo and Moore would be all over Whitaker. I haven't even mentioned DeJesus, Buchanan and Marcel. Then throw in Castro. Durans record is loaded only the only reason Sweet Pea says Duran's record is it is because it makes Whitaker look bad next to Duran. if Whitaker fought the opponents of Roberto Duran at lightweight, with the regularity at which Duran fought he would have losses and if he fought his overall record he had many losses

And all this speed bothers Duran bull **** is just that bull****. Duran was very fast. Hr beat Leonard to the punch repeatedly to beat him. At lightweight he crushed. Any poster who does not see both a physical and complete style and footwork difference between Duran up to Montreal and Duran after is FLAT OUT LYING to protect their own agenda. There are some fighters whose greatness is obvious. To deny it shows eyes that cant discern great from good. I believe poster Sweetpea can but to do so is too admit Duran is fathoms above his hero as a fighter. Imagine the lump of crap Duran would pound Haugan or that jymiddleweight bum Vasquez into then imagine sweet boy against Hagler and Barkley. Legalized murder baby.

Yea most of the fans that say that only saw him in the 80s. Those were famous fights but was nowhere near the fighter he had been. Duran had great speed and timing. He threw alot punches and was impossible to get away from..

It would be like judging Kareem Abdul Jabbar only on his battles in the 80s when he was about 40 years old but still effecive. In the 70s nobody could handle him.

There is so much wrong with this I don't even know where to begin. It's almost comical. Haugen and Ramirez beat Whitaker.... Frank in Frank.. Is that you? Those guys barely won a hand full of rounds total against Whitaker, let alone the fights

Whitaker was a tricky fighter, without a doubt. I think he could give Duran plenty to think about early on. That said, I can see a scenario where Duran dominates him also. But I can't as easily see Whitaker doing that to Duran - not at 135 pounds. So I pick Duran by a relatively clear decision.

So you are a clown. Your sentence was:

KOBA and Guts were betterthan haugon and ramirez who beat Whitaker

That sentence could certainly mean you believe Haugen and Ramirez beat Whitaker. If you just wanted it to be Ramirez, try writing it more clearly and using that thing we call punctuation in the English language. What's worse, you think Ramirez beat Whitaker LMAO. Clownshoes 5000 type of comment. If you think Ramirez won, it's time to pick up another sport because boxing isn't your thing.

Once more, learn to read Princess. Don't get yr panties in an uproar because you saw their first fight differently. I know you are confused and lashing out the past 4 days or so, but you'll feel better until next month at this time, when you will feel bad again. It's just human nature for your kind. I ain't mad at ya.:)
