I have it a push, scored both fights 117-111 though I think 116-112 Crawford is fine and 118-110 Bivol is fine too

I feel both fighters comprehensively beat Alvarez and both fight differently but beat him in their own way

Canelo was stifled, frustrated and out boxed by both men

Floyd was giving away the most weight to Clenelo, 15lbs no less

But he did handicap him with a catchweight and whilst Clenelo had plenty of fights at the time he didn't have the experience at the elite level he had when he fought Bivol and Crawford

Bivol beat the best, strongest, healthiest, and most prime Clenelo who was ranked P4P#1 at the time

But he did have a 3-5lb weight advantage and Clenelo did come up to Bivol's weight to face him

Crawford beat the worst version of Clenelo who hadn't stopped anyone in four years

But he did jump up 2 weight classes to face him. That being said, was the size difference between Clenelo and him actually even as much as it was between Bivol and Clenelo?

Floyd pretty much pitched a shutout vs Clenelo. I can't remember my scorecard but did Clenelo even deserve to win a round?

Bivol arguably shut Clenelo out but you could arguably give Clenelo 2 rounds

I'll have to watch Crawford vs Clenelo again but for me it was a much closer fight than Floyd vs Clenelo and Bivol vs Clenelo

Floyd followed deep Eurasian brother Bivol's blueprint, Crawford followed Bivol's blueprint and also the slight modifications Floyd made to it :deal:

:eyebrow2: I didn't know Floyd was a time traveler. So Floyd was sent 9 years into the future, to see what Bivol did, then went back in time to follow Bivol's blueprint, despite fighting in a completely different style than how Bivol did? Make it make sense please.

One thing Canelo did against Bivol that he didn't do against Floyd or Crawford was coming out aggressive and taking the fight to Bivol. He didn't show Bivol the kind of respect that he showed Floyd or Bud. Bivol did his thing and Canelo gassed out, but Bivol did a lot of covering up throughout the fight, he felt the power from the bicep bombs and the bruising on his bicep was gnarly.

What do you think would have happened if Canelo had come out aggressive against Bud like he did agaisnt Bivol? Canelo needs to stop playin patty cakes, he needs to come out like a bat outta hell like he did agaisnt Bivol and putting on that hurt. If he doesn't have the fighting spirit in him anymore, then maybe he should hang em up. Even though Bivol took it to him for a good chunk of that fight, at least he came to fight early on backed his man up, forced him to cover-up and take multiple bicep bombs and tried to impose his will on Dmitry. I'd rather him fight like that than fight like he did against Crawford.

    Crawford.

Crawford embarrassed him and left him no excuses.

Moved up in weight with no clauses or requirements.

Beat him outside, inside and midrange. Traded with him and even wobbled him. Just completely outclassed him. Canelo said this himself. Bud is just better than him.

With Bivol he can say he was too big. Or just boxed him from the outside.

With Floyd he can say he was young, or drained from the catchweight, or say Floyd just boxed without engaging.

He can't say any of that with Bud. Bud beat him every way possible, at a disadvantage.

Bivol really should have beaten Canelo as he has fought at 175 the whole time, size difference was big.
Bud is a massive drainer and not much smaller than Canelo, plus older, so his win is more impressive on paper.
But Canelo was a bit more shop worn for the Bud fight.
I would say Bud's win is better.
I never thought Bivol's win was impressive, only because canelo is such a PED fiend and has bent cards was it a dangerous fight.
But Bud's win is also overrated because clearly the Canelo recently has lost a bit.

Best win is GGG v Canelo 1, where Canelo had a huge youth ad and just came off a lot of injections and GGG beat him comfortably and got robbed. That was a decisive win against the best Canelo, who was very sharp in that fight and one of the only people Golovkin could catch and stop.

Bivol damn near white washed Canelo. I had it 10-2 for Bivol. The Crawford fight was competitive.

Canelo that fought Bivol was a better version than the one that fought Crawford.

Too bad Bivol has pillow fists. If Beterbiev or any other big punching LHW had Clenelo on the ropes like that he's getting sent to the morgue.

Bivol toyed with Clenelo. It was actually kind of sad to watch, and I'm not the biggest Clenelo fan in the world.
